Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Senior Control System Engineer to own assigned control system functions and interfaces within a global, multi-disciplinary team. You will mentor junior engineers and support full life cycle development across Rolls-Royce programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s (5+ yrs) or Master’s (3+ yrs) in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 10% involving site-to-site movements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of product development experience, OR Master’s with 3+ years, OR PhD.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop control system requirements, design and verification for safety-critical applications.
• Provide guidance to a small team of engineers and ensure technical outcomes meet standards.
• Travel up to 10% between Rolls-Royce sites and up to 10% other travel.
