Job summary
Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) seeks an experienced Control & SCADA Engineer to design, develop, test, and commission control systems for energy projects, focusing on SCADA, PLCs, plant controls, and grid integration.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with SCADA, PLC programming, and plant automation, plus familiarity with solar, wind, or energy storage projects and grid interconnection requirements. Collaborative work with engineers and operations teams is essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with SCADA, PLC programming, and plant automation.
- Experience with solar, wind, or energy storage projects.
- Experience with grid interconnection and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and commission SCADA, PLC, and control systems.
- Configure and maintain RTUs, PLCs, and microgrid controllers.
- Work with MODBUS, DNP3, and IEC 61850 protocols.
- Support SCADA, AGC, GMS, and related control applications.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, and field commissioning.
- Support grid integration and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and improve control system performance.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and operations teams.
- Develop technical standards and specifications.
- Support energy storage, microgrid, and DERMS projects.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
