Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to lead development and commissioning of SCADA systems for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. You will define standards, program and integrate hardware/software, and drive testing to meet customer and utility requirements.

Responsibilities include producing project documentation, providing expert technical support, and mentoring junior engineers while improving standardization and project delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering is preferred.
• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy (PV, BESS or Wind) desired.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, Structured Text IEC61131-3).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and commissioning of SCADA monitoring and control systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects (PV and BESS).
• Define and implement SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Own end-to-end PPC implementation on assigned projects, including programming, hardware/software integration and testing to ISO/utility requirements.
