Job summary

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) in Huntsville, AL seeks a Principal Specialist, Contracts to lead cradle-to-grave contract management for Patriot programs, interfacing with US Army, ACC, DLA, and FMS partners. The role includes proposal preparation, negotiations, contract administration, and closeout, with travel to key meetings.

The candidate will coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Estimating, and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, timely execution and strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience with the administration of Contracts (to include proposal activity) governed by FAR and/or DFARS, or NASA/DOE supplements.
• Experience with Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead status meetings and draft contract letters for program topics.
• Support a multifunctional team to manage successful execution of contracts including Program Management, Engineering, Estimating, and Supply Chain.
• Maintain rigorous file management of contractual documents and official correspondence.
• Research FAR/DFARS and internal Raytheon procedures to provide compliant solutions for program results in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage multiple contracts and complex issues across cross-functional teams.
• Construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals; assist in RFP analysis and proposal development.
• Coordinate pricing sweeps to enable pricing certifications under TINA during negotiations.
• Facilitate internal staffing of acquisition packages for approval authorities and sign documents within authority.
• Process contractual modifications and manage contract closeout efforts.
