Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Contract Specialist Senior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) across the full contract lifecycle, ensuring timely, compliant execution for complex government and commercial programs.

You will negotiate terms, monitor FAR/DFARS and 2 CFR 200 compliance, perform price analysis, support proposals, and coordinate with program management and finance to align contract strategy with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of contracting, subcontracting and/or procurement experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance requirements.
• Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.
• Must obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance within 60 days of hire, U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Experience with Space Force or DoD programs; advanced Excel proficiency - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
• Conduct contract price analysis
• Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
• Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.
