Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role covers the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs, including negotiating terms, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and supporting proposal development.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of contracting experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of contracting, subcontracting and/or procurement experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance requirements.
• Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
• Conduct contract price analysis
• Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
• Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.
