Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). The role covers full lifecycle contract administration for complex government and commercial programs, including negotiating terms and ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance.

You will collaborate with program managers and finance teams, support proposal efforts, and maintain audit-ready records in contract management systems. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of contracting, subcontracting, and/or procurement experience.
• FAR/DFARS compliance expertise.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
• Conduct contract price analysis.
• Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
• Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.
