Job summary

Lumanity seeks a Senior Contracts Specialist to support the Legal Services department in drafting, reviewing, and managing project-level agreements and related legal documents for clients worldwide.

Based on the East Coast (EST), you will negotiate terms, maintain contract trackers, and develop compliant templates while coordinating with commercial teams and clients to accelerate contracting timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required with experience creating and supporting contractual agreements.
• Experience in a professional services or consulting environment within life sciences, pharma, or biotech industry.
• Familiarity with legal and procurement functions in the life sciences or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Understand contracting needs of operating companies and ensure agreements align with client specifications, MSAs, and project-level requirements.
• Review and prepare agreements (CDAs, MSAs) using established guidelines; coordinate review, amendments, and signatures with commercial teams and clients.
• Create and organize contracting templates, materials, and processes.
• Adapt proposals and convert into project agreements/SOWs for contracting clients, balancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and third parties.
• Track contract agreements (MSAs, NDAs, Standalone Agreements, SOWs) and maintain contract metadata to execution.
• Develop, implement, and train on compliance and contracting policies across the organization.
• Support day-to-day administration of contracting, including trackers, documents, expirations, and template maintenance.
• Provide general administrative support to the Legal Services team.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with experience creating and supporting contractual agreements
