Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to own the contracting process end to end, reporting to the General Counsel. You will draft, negotiate, and close customer and supplier agreements, including pharma collaborations and data licensing, with a focus on data rights and HIPAA/GDPR issues.

This role supports a primarily remote workforce with in-person hubs in Boston and New York, offering a high-autonomy environment in a lean legal team and exposure to life sciences,

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years negotiating commercial agreements in house, at a law firm, or in a paralegal/contracts role in life sciences, health tech, or SaaS.
• Experience independently negotiating customer-facing agreements from draft to signature.
• Familiarity with data rights, HIPAA and GDPR issues in contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own the full contract lifecycle for customer and vendor agreements: drafting, negotiation, redlining, and execution.
• Negotiate pharma/biopharma collaboration agreements, clinical trial services agreements, and data licensing/RWD/RWE agreements.
• Lead negotiations on SaaS and platform subscription agreements and licensing agreements.
• Support commercialization of FDA-cleared devices with regulatory cooperation and quality provisions.
• Negotiate HIPAA business associate agreements for vendors handling PHI.
• Act as SME on data rights: ownership, licensing scope, and restrictions.
• Apply privacy rules to flag issues and escalate to GC.
• Help create and maintain contract templates and playbooks.
• Manage contract repository, renewals, and milestones.
