The Sr. Contract Specialist role is responsible for reviewing agreements, handling the administration and customer contact activities associated with contract execution, and processing in accordance with company policies, legal and compliance requirements, and customer specifications. This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of contract content through coordination and validation with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, it involves tracking and reporting contract status, and maintaining and updating systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness. The role also includes training stakeholders on contractual requirements.
Requires training and understanding in legal, business administration, grant/contract management, or similar fields, generally obtained through a four-year Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification. Requires five to seven years of direct experience in contracting or law firm experience. Knowledge of contractual/legal terms and conditions is essential. Experience in the healthcare industry consulting environment is preferred.
