Job Details

The Sr. Contract Specialist role is responsible for reviewing agreements, handling the administration and customer contact activities associated with contract execution, and processing in accordance with company policies, legal and compliance requirements, and customer specifications. This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of contract content through coordination and validation with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, it involves tracking and reporting contract status, maintaining and updating systems for data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness, and training stakeholders on contractual requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Reviews, prepares, and evaluates agreements prior to signature to ensure accuracy and interpret and influence performance requirements, delivery obligations, timelines, costs, and payment schedules, minimizing Lash Group's exposure to risk.
  2. Collaborates with Legal, Finance, and other subject matter experts to validate contract content and resolve inconsistencies promptly.
  3. Assesses the need for legal review, engaging Corporate Counsel and/or Vice President of Shared Services as needed; supports them by managing priorities and customer expectations.
  4. Assists Senior Manager, Contracts, with complex contracting issues.
  5. Develops and conducts training on contract policies for new hires and stakeholders.
  6. Supports inquiries regarding contracting, compliance policies, procedures, risks, and contract status from business stakeholders.
  7. Manages contract software reporting and maintains a library of contract language, terms, and client-specific requirements.
  8. Performs daily maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure system accuracy.
  9. Manages contractual documents across all business platforms.
  10. Leads weekly contracting status calls with business leaders.
  11. Manages the contract administration email inbox and maintains templating documents.
  12. Oversees the master contracting data repository for pending contracts.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification, with 5-7 years of contracting or law firm experience. Knowledge of legal and contractual terms, preferably with healthcare industry consulting experience, is preferred.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong drafting, proofreading, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, and experience with iCertis is preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate risk and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary Range*

$72,200 - 103,290 (varies by location; some states may have up to 10% lower or 12% higher ranges).
