Job Details

The Sr. Contract Specialist role is responsible for reviewing agreements, handling the administration and customer contact activities associated with contract execution, and processing in accordance with company policies, legal and compliance requirements, and customer specifications. This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of contract content through coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, it involves tracking and reporting contract status, maintaining and updating systems for data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness, and training stakeholders on contractual requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Reviews, prepares, and evaluates agreements prior to signature to ensure accuracy and interpret and influence performance requirements, delivery obligations, timelines, costs, and payment schedules, minimizing Lash Group's exposure to risk.
  2. Works closely with Legal, Finance, and other subject matter experts to validate contract content and resolve inconsistencies promptly.
  3. Assesses the need for legal review, engaging Corporate Counsel and/or Vice President of Shared Services as needed; assists by managing priorities and customer expectations.
  4. Supports complex contracting issues alongside the Senior Manager, Contracts.
  5. Develops and conducts training on contract policies and acumen for new hires and stakeholders.
  6. Supports inquiries from business stakeholders regarding contracting, compliance policies, risks, and contract status.
  7. Manages contract software reporting and maintains a library of contractual content, including standard language and client-specific requirements.
  8. Performs daily system maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy in tracking systems.
  9. Manages contractual documents across business platforms and leads weekly contracting status calls with business leaders.
  10. Handles the contract administration email inbox and maintains templating documents.
  11. Oversees the master contracting data repository for pending contracts and performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certification, with 5-7 years of contracting and/or law firm experience. Knowledge of legal and contractual terms, preferably within the healthcare consulting industry, is essential.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong contractual drafting and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills related to contract information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate risk, prioritize tasks, and present effectively.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint, and experience with iCertis is preferred.
  • Ability to contribute ideas for team efficiency and effectiveness.

Salary Range*

$72,200 - 103,290 (National Average). Actual salary may vary based on location, with adjustments for specific states.
