Job summary

Clēnera, LLC in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Contracts Manager to develop sourcing strategies for EPC, O&M, and engineering contracts. You will lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract development, and supplier relationship management to achieve cost, quality, and risk targets.

The role collaborates across engineering, construction, operations, finance, legal, IT, and executives to align procurement with business goals. Travel up to 10% is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, contract management, or related.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company software programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category management strategies that align with objectives, pipelines, and market conditions.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives from requirements to supplier selection.
• Build knowledge of supplier markets and pricing dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
• Structure and execute RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and negotiations for optimized outcomes.
• Negotiate master service agreements, statements of work, and purchase agreements.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships to improve performance and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, finance, legal, IT, and executives to support goals.
• Measure supplier performance with KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify cost optimization and value-creation initiatives across categories.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while promoting accountability and high performance.
