Job summary

Clēnera, LLC in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Financial Control & Budget Analyst to provide financial oversight across utility-scale solar, storage, and renewable projects. You will partner with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Development, and Finance to track costs against budgets.

The role focuses on monitoring expenditures, preparing cost reports, analyzing variances, administering change orders, and maintaining BAC/ETC/EAC figures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn company software.
• Strong written and verbal communication and data presentation.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau is a plus; ERP/PM tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project expenditures, commitments, accruals, and forecasts against budgets.
• Maintain project cost reports and budget visibility throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify budget variances with project managers and leaders.
• Administer change orders from initiation through approval and implementation.
• Ensure costs are categorized and aligned with approved structures.
• Develop and reconcile BAC, ETC, EAC with documented assumptions.
• Create and monitor a project dashboard for KPIs during construction.
• Map costs to WBS and ensure alignment with work packages.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop construction forecasts.
• Uphold organizational timelines and deliverables, embodying our values.
