Job summary

Dexian is seeking a Buyer 3/Contract Specialist in Atlanta, GA to lead complex sourcing and contracting activities for large generation construction projects. The role supports end-to-end procurement, negotiating favorable terms and mitigating risk across multiple initiatives.

The Sr. Contracts Agent partners with internal stakeholders, develops advanced procurement strategies, and ensures compliance with procurement policies while managing high-stakes relationships with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• BS in Business, Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management or Law is preferred.
• Formal education in supply chain, project management or law is highly preferred.
• Five years in Supply Chain Management—required.

Responsibilities

• Duties include daily support of all sourcing and contracting activities from cradle to grave, including RFI/RFP prep, pre-bid meetings, and review of offers.
• Lead advanced sourcing projects and implement high-profile programs for procurement of Equipment and Services.
• Communicate effectively with Management at multiple levels, both oral and written.
• Develop sourcing strategy for high-risk services, supporting multiple large construction projects concurrently.
• Manage complex relationships with vendors to reduce costs and improve terms.
• Work cross-functionally to improve and streamline processes.
• Ensure risk is properly controlled and mitigated.
• Develop knowledge of procurement policies and serve as SME.
• Draft advanced contract language and ensure terms are included in procurement documents.
• Identify and evaluate new sources of supply globally to meet customer needs.
• Maintain familiarity with contracting systems and risk management practices.
• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and uphold ethical interfaces with contractors.
