Job summary

Dexian, a leading talent and technology solutions provider with a global footprint, seeks a Procurement and Sourcing Analyst in New York. You will support strategic sourcing initiatives, create POs, and assist with SOWs and contracts.

You will partner with Legal, Finance, Vendor Management, Third Party Risk, Purchasing and business stakeholders, develop negotiation strategies, monitor timelines, and help drive continuous improvement through data analysis and market research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, purchasing, or related function.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business applications.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing initiatives including RFPs, RFx events, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and market research.
• Assist in developing negotiation strategies and supplier relationships.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Vendor Management, Third Party Risk, Purchasing, and stakeholders across the procurement lifecycle.
• Create and process Purchase Orders and support procurement-related transactions.
• Assist with review and processing of Statements of Work, contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, identify risks, elevate issues, and inform stakeholders of progress.
• Support vendor onboarding, supplier performance monitoring, and procurement process improvements.
• Analyze industry trends, supplier markets, and procurement technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Procurement and Sourcing Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing initiatives, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), RFx events, supplier evaluations, benchmarking activities, and market research.
• Assist in developing negotiation strategies that align with business objectives and foster strong supplier relationships.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Vendor Management, Third Party Risk, Purchasing, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and support procurement-related transactions.
• Assist with the review and processing of Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, identify risks, elevate issues when appropriate, and ensure stakeholders remain informed of progress and outcomes.
• Support vendor onboarding, supplier performance monitoring, and procurement process improvements.
• Analyze industry trends, supplier markets, and emerging procurement technologies to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and value.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new processes, systems, and sourcing methodologies while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, purchasing, finance, operations, or a related business function.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to indirect procurement categories such as Professional Services, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Telecom, Market Data, or Security.
• Experience with procurement and e-sourcing platforms such as Oracle Procurement, Coupa, Ariba, or similar tools.
• Experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as SAP Fieldglass.
• Familiarity with supplier management, contract administration, purchase orders, SOWs, or sourcing processes.
