Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino seeks a Contracts Manager to independently draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and construction agreements. You will manage risk, develop templates, and drive CLM adoption across departments.

You will lead negotiations with customers and suppliers, coordinate with legal teams, and ensure accurate reflection of commercial intent in final contracts. A strong background in heavy civil or environmental services is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Construction Management, Legal Studies, Contract Management, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in contract management, procurement, legal operations, or risk management.
Proven ability to independently manage complex contract negotiations and stakeholder relationships.
Experience drafting and negotiating contracts in construction, heavy civil, industrial, or equipment rental industries.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a broad range of commercial, construction, heavy civil, industrial, and equipment rental agreements.
Lead direct negotiations with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and business partners.
Analyze contract terms and conditions and provide practical business-focused recommendations.
Develop and maintain standard contract templates, fallback language, playbooks, and negotiation strategies.
Identify contractual, operational, insurance, and commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Coordinate legal review and incorporate approved positions into negotiations.
Ensure final agreements reflect negotiated terms and commercial intent.
Contract Lifecycle Management: manage contracts from intake to closeout and drive CLM adoption.
