Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to manage government prime/subcontracts and ensure FAR/DFAR compliance. You will review RFPs, draft terms, negotiate with vendors, and maintain contract files.

You will coordinate with Program Managers, Product Line Managers, and legal teams, deliver risk assessments, and support audits. Requires 6–8 years of contracts experience and a legal/commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field required; MBA or JD preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of Contracts experience.
• Experience with federal Government prime and subcontracts, and domestic and international commercial contracts.
• FAR, DFAR and other Government regulations knowledge required.
• Ability to distill contract risks into clear management summaries.
• Knowledge of Government and commercial contracting processes and contract drafting.

Responsibilities

• Supports quote and proposal activities.
• Reviews RFP and RFQ documents and identifies proposal parameters/requirements.
• Leads price negotiations, coordinates with Program Managers and Product Line Managers.
• Advises management on contractual rights/obligations and risk mitigation.
• Maintains contract and pricing files; administers Government prime and subcontracts.
• Review, draft and negotiate terms and conditions, NDAs and LTAs.
• Prepare for approval/distribution of all contractual documents per compliance requirements.
• Support internal, customer and US Government reporting and audits.
