Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Contracts Management Sr in Orlando to oversee the full contract lifecycle from capture and proposal through award and ongoing administration. You will manage contract activities, provide business guidance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate solicitations, negotiations, and awards with program, finance, legal, and engineering teams, acting as the authorized company representative and ensuring performance against commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Ability to interpret RFPs and contract terms, develop contract positions relating to risks and opportunities.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial concepts and apply them to contractual matters.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments while meeting program commitments.
• Establish effective relationships and communications with internal and external customers.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; able to learn other applications as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; detail- and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract solicitations, capture efforts, negotiations, and awards with cross-functional partners.
• Serve as the Company’s authorized representative to customer buying officials and manage contract performance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements; lead audits.
• Collect contractual data, compile reports, and develop training on contract best practices.
• Provide business guidance across functions such as finance, legal, subcontracts, engineering, and compliance.
