Textron Systems in Maryland seeks a Contracts Business Manager with ten or more years of contract experience to lead contract management across the full lifecycle. In addition to contract leadership, you will advise management and programs teams, coordinating with Legal as needed.

You will interface with customers on all contractual matters, review terms for risk, support bid/no bid decisions, and manage domestic and international contracts, ensuring compliance and timely closure.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree in a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of demonstrated contract experience, defense and international contracting preferred.
• Supervisory/managerial experience desired but not required.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain.

Mansioni

• Serve as primary customer interface for contractual matters across all contract phases.
• Identify and mitigate risk; review terms, conditions, delivery, IP, termination, indemnification.
• Participate in bid/no bid decisions; support proposal development and negotiations; maintain cost data for TINA compliance.
• Manage government/commercial contracts (domestic/international), including modifications; maintain files and reports.
• Collaborate with program teams; monitor schedules, funding, invoicing; advise on contract solutions.
• Identify changes, coordinate resolution; ensure effective change management and compliance with laws.
• Close out completed contracts; ensure alignment with policies and regulations; coordinate with Legal.
• Pursue ongoing education on contracting trends and regulatory changes; apply Six Sigma where appropriate.
