Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with several years in aerospace/defense contracts, plus strong negotiation and proposal experience, and the ability to travel and obtain a US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree with 4+ years.
• At least 4 years of experience with contracts management in aerospace, defense, or government.
• Experience handling proposals, contract negotiation, RFP review, and administration with external customers.
• Experience managing pre-award and post-award activities end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary communication conduit between L3Harris and the customers.
• Provides proper contract acquisition and fulfillment per policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements.
• Analyzes material estimates, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules for accuracy.
• Works with cross-functional team to prepare proposals and approvals.
• Prepares and conducts negotiations.
• Builds relationships and works in a team environment.
• Champions change management with internal and external teams.
• Advises management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Presents information to broad audience, inclusive of management.
• Multi-tasks and determines priorities on multiple assignments.
• Negotiates contract terms with commercial, international and US Government customers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability and willingness to travel, and work extended hours, as needed.
