Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Contracts in Palm Bay, FL to manage government contracts end-to-end. You will review RFPs, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/ITAR while coordinating with customers and program teams for successful contract execution.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with 2+ years, or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, negotiating, and administering a large volume of contracts for various customers.
• Ensuring contract actions comply with FAR, DFARS, ITAR and company policies.
• Reviewing RFPs and preparing proposals including engineering changes.
• Performing risk assessment of terms and conditions and developing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with customers, management, and programs to secure approvals and execution.
• Serving as the customer point of contact during all program phases.
• Generating and maintaining contract documentation.
