Job summary

Munters in Daleville, VA seeks a Contracts Manager for Data Center Technologies to lead review, negotiation, and management of complex commercial agreements. Travel is required to support customer negotiations and project needs.

You will work closely with Sales, Project Management, Operations, Finance, and Legal to protect the company while enabling customer partnerships. The role emphasizes risk analysis, diligent contract governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial contract review, negotiation, or contract management experience.
• Experience independently reviewing and redlining complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of contractual risk allocation and practical decision-making.
• Excellent written communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple negotiations and competing priorities.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering equipment, data centers, HVAC, or project environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, negotiate, and manage customer contracts, master agreements, PO's, SOWs, and related documents.
• Evaluate provisions including liability, indemnification, warranties, liquidated damages, IP, payment, insurance, and delivery.
• Identify risks and develop practical alternatives and fallback positions.
• Partner with Legal Counsel on significant issues, disputes, and deviations.
• Review POs against governing agreements and identify conflicting terms.
• Support warranty claims, delay notices, and liquidated damages disputes.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Project Management, Finance, and leadership during negotiations.
• Maintain contract records, negotiation history, and approvals.
• Develop contract playbooks, clause libraries, and negotiation guidelines.
• Identify recurring risks and recommend improvements to commercial practices.
