Job summary

Quantum-Systems is expanding its US operations and seeks a Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of government and defense-related contracts, drafting, negotiating, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work with executive leadership and external counsel to mitigate risks, ensure FAR/DFARS/ITAR/EAR compliance, and develop standardized templates and processes across the contracting function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or legal field.
• 5–8 years in contract management, preferably aerospace/government.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating government contracts.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS; ITAR/EAR.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts with confidentiality.
• Strong negotiation, written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, administering, and closing out government, supplier, and customer agreements.
• Provide legal and contractual guidance to internal stakeholders regarding contract terms, obligations, liabilities, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contractual agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, supplier, teaming, licensing, and government contracts.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual, legal, financial, and operational risks while protecting the company's business interests.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and other regulations.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex matters, disputes, interpretations, and litigation.
• Support Business Development and executives in contract negotiations, proposals, bid reviews, and strategic agreements.
• Review terms to identify exposure, indemnification, IP considerations, liability limits, and termination provisions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized contract templates, policies, and procedures.
