Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Contracts to lead a team of contract professionals supporting domestic and international defense programs, including DoW, FMS, and DCS.

You will drive contract strategy, negotiations, and lifecycle management to optimize performance across multiple customers. The role requires deep knowledge of government contracting, strong leadership, and the ability to ensure compliance with export controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of DoW, FMS, and DCS contracting experience.
• Graduate degree with 10 years of experience in DoW, FMS, and DCS contracting.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of experience in DoW, FMS, and DCS contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of contract professionals.
• Develop and execute contractual strategies across DoW, FMS, and DCS programs.
• Evaluate opportunities and decisions with enterprise impact across customer relations, profitability, and compliance.
• Provide creative, compliant solutions to complex contractual challenges with clear options and risks.
• Lead negotiations of DCS terms including payments, milestones, warranties, IP, and data rights.
• Direct the full contract lifecycle from solicitation to closeout and amendments.
• Coordinate export authorizations and regulatory conditions in contracts.
• Collaborate across functions to align commercial terms with revenue recognition and cash flow.
