Job summary

You will guide contract strategy, steer negotiation teams, and ensure regulatory compliance from inception to close-out. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in government acquisitions, strong leadership, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience in Contracts.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• Working experience with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex and strategic portfolio of domestic and international contracts, providing business, contractual, and risk mitigation guidance from contract inception through close-out.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in US Government acquisition regulations and international contracting.
• Lead and support cross-functional proposal and negotiation teams on major domestic and international contracts, including bid/no-bid recommendations and risk assessments.
• Provide contractual support to business-critical areas including development of commercial and programmatic strategies and negotiation oversight.
• Review and assess the contractual, financial, and business aspects of proposals and agreements, including pricing, costs, risks, and opportunities.
• Draft, negotiate, review, and approve a wide variety of agreements such as Teaming, NDA, and Licensing Agreements.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance and Export/Import teams to ensure ITAR, EAR compliance for international pursuits.
