Teck Resources Limited is seeking a Contracts Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of contracts for Pend Oreille Mine and dormant properties. The role requires collaboration with Lands and Legal departments, site leadership, and cross-border teams to ensure compliance with contracting standards and governance.

The successful candidate will develop contract strategies, oversee RFPs, negotiate terms, and manage post‑award administration including payments and changes, with regular travel

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education from a recognized institution is required.
• 8+ years of experience in contract management within EPC/EPCM organizations, mining operations, project teams, closure/reclamation projects, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing and executing full contract lifecycle activities.
• Strong negotiation, issue resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with closure, reclamation, environmental monitoring, or legacy site contracting is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Develop and recommend contract strategies and plans to site managers, project managers, maintenance teams, and technical teams.
• Manage the RFP process, including planning, preparing, and administering documentation and schedules.
• Negotiate commercial and legal terms on Teck's behalf and recommend contract awards based on overall value.
• Administer contracts post‑award, including invoices, payment processes, and changes.
• Ensure contracts are closed out in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare contract management reports and commercial status updates for management.
