Zusammenfassung

COWI is seeking a Sr Contracts Specialist to manage and administer prime contracts on North American projects, coordinating with legal and project teams to optimize commercial outcomes.

The role requires extensive experience in contracts administration and commercial management within engineering consultancy or contract environments, with a strong emphasis on risk management, change control, and client liaison. Hybrid work across multiple NA locations is offered.

Qualifikationen

• . Bachelor/Master in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or Legal fields.
• . Active professional membership(s) in relevant professional bodies preferred.
• . 10+ years working for contractor or engineering consultant in contracts administration and commercial management.
• . At least 5 years in senior contract management position; experience with medium/large design organizations is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Manage deliverables within contract timeframes; advise project team on commercial issues.
• Identify deviations to scope or terms; process changes and raise notices; ensure proper valuation of variations.
• Address risk; input into project risk register; ensure profitability events are recorded.
• Coordinate payments with project finance; monitor certificates and payment process; notify delays.
• Conduct contract awareness training for staff; share lessons learned across projects.
• Engage with client commercial teams; participate in monthly progress reporting.
• Coordinate with document control; establish change/variation logs; support insurance updates; participate in senior management meetings.
