COWI is seeking a Sr Contract Specialist in North America to plan, develop, and implement contract and commercial strategies across major projects. You will manage prime contracts, advise on risk, coordinate with legal and project teams, and lead commercial meetings with clients to secure favorable outcomes.

You will support project delivery from proposal through close, with focus on change management, payments, and documentation across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science or Masters in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or Legal fields will be in considered.
• Active professional membership(s) in relevant professional bodies preferred.
• Over 10 years working for contractor or engineering consultant in contracts administration and commercial management.

Responsabilidades

• Manage deliverables and ensure contractual/commercial issues are communicated to the PM and project team.
• Identify deviations to scope or terms and process changes; raise notices and manage variations/claims.
• Advise on risk and ensure profitability is properly recorded in project documents.
• Coordinate payments with project finance; monitor and remediate delays; ensure contract compliance.
• Conduct contract awareness training and share lessons learned across projects.
• Lead frequent commercial meetings with clients and contribute to monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with document control, insurance coordination, and senior management on contract matters.
