Job summary

COWI A/S in North America is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to lead contract administration across major infrastructure projects in the USA and Canada, coordinating with project teams and Group Legal.

You will develop commercial strategies, manage prime and sub-contracts, handle changes, notices, and claims, and lead client interactions and risk management. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or Legal fields.
• 10+ years in contracts administration and commercial management.
• At least 5 years in a senior contract management role.
• Experience with medium to large design organizations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the prime contract on assigned projects.
• Draft and issue correspondence, changes, and notices.
• Coordinate with project teams and Group Legal on contractual matters.
• Attend commercial meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support risk management and claim activities.
• Coordinate sub-contracts and insurance considerations.
