Job summary

COWI is seeking a Leading Bridge Engineer for North America. You will lead and coordinate bridge design projects, oversee analysis, calculations, and drawings, and manage teams across North American infrastructure programs.

You have a strong background in complex bridges (cable-stayed, cable-supported), and you hold or will obtain a Professional Engineer license in New York. Expect deep client collaboration and project leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 10–20 years of bridge design and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license in New York or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in structural analysis, design, and drawings.
• Prepare reports, technical specs, work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Evaluate design options and assess technical/financial impact.
• Coordinate with clients, professionals, and third parties.
• Assist with proposals and business development activities.
