Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Contracts to serve as a key point of contact for communicating, negotiating, and influencing contract terms. The role requires expertise in contract law, negotiation, and administration across diverse contract types, including CPFF and FFP, with up to 25% travel.

The candidate will review RFPs, assess risk, manage negotiations, and implement process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency and effectiveness, supporting strategic objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree with 7+ years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategies to advance critical business objectives.
• Manage RFP review, risk assessment, proposal prep, contract negotiation and administration for assigned contracts.
• Lead complex negotiations to develop overarching strategies to mitigate risk.
• Develop innovative solutions to contracting issues aligned with organizational goals.
• Address major contractual issues in proposal and execution phases.
• Serve as contracts point of contact internally and externally.
