Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Contracts Director 2 to steer end‑to‑end contract formation and negotiation for the Weapons Systems Division.

You will lead contract managers, advise leadership on terms and risk, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS for complex development and production programs. You will collaborate with program management, finance, and operations to align proposals, pricing, and strategic goals while nurturing a high‑performing contracts team across domestic and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or Master’s degree with 8+ years of contracts experience in aerospace/defense or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading contract negotiation and administration for complex, high value programs.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and U.S. Government contracting practices including multiple contract types.

• Provide strategic leadership for the Contracts organization within the Weapons Systems Division.
• Lead development, review, negotiation, and execution of complex contracts and related agreements with U.S. Government and international customers.
• Advise division/program leadership on contract strategy, terms, risk allocation, and compliance implications.
• Drive standardized contract processes, tools, controls, and best practices across the division.
• Oversee contract change management, including REAs, claims, and modifications to scope, schedule, and price.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders; lead a high‑performing contracts team.
