Job summary

Carnegie is seeking a Contracts and Compliance Manager in Westford, MA to own the full contract lifecycle for client agreements and lead a small Specialist team. You will set drafting and review standards, manage renewals, and ensure privacy and security commitments flow to vendors and subcontractors.

You will oversee compliance operations across client, vendor, and subcontractor contracts, coordinating with IT and Security, while maintaining a central database and AI-assisted processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, or another advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in contract management, compliance operations, vendor management, or related role in client-facing settings.
• 2+ years directly managing a team, including senior-level contributors.
• Strong grasp of data privacy, security terms, indemnification, insurance, liability, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own contract management end to end for client agreements, including drafting, negotiation, redlining, execution, and renewal tracking.
• Run compliance operations across client, vendor, and subcontractor contracts; ensure data privacy and security terms are practical.
• Directly supervise and coach two Senior Specialists; set expectations and manage caseloads.
• Maintain a central compliance database and establish AI usage standards for drafting and summarizing terms.
