Job summary

ZBeta, Inc. is seeking a Contracts and Compliance Manager to lead contract review, negotiation, and risk assessment.

You will report to the VP of Finance and collaborate with Consulting Services Group, Business Development, and project teams to ensure compliant, business-friendly agreements. The role involves building federal contracting capabilities, managing insurance and vendor administration, and developing practical guidance to strengthen risk awareness across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in contract management, contracts and compliance, or related role.
• Experience independently negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing contractual risk.
• Direct experience with federal subcontracts, including flow‑down provisions, representations and certifications, and prime contractor relationships.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, HSAR, SAM.gov and related contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and manage client and vendor agreements (MSA, SOW, subcontracts, NDAs, amendments, task orders).
• Negotiate indemnification, liability, IP, insurance, payment terms, and other commercial terms.
• Partner with CSG, Business Development, and project teams to assess risks of new opportunities.
