Job summary

Nextpower Inc in Fremont, CA seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to independently lead complex contract negotiation, administration, and lifecycle management for US projects. You will guide agreements across Supply and Service contracts, ensuring compliant, risk-aware execution.

You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Project Management to align positions with business goals, mitigate risk, and improve contracting processes across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, legal studies, or contract management.
• 8+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering complex commercial contracts.
• Ability to work independently on complex issues with sound judgment and timely completion.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management for complex projects and commercial transactions across the USA.
• Review, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements, including Supply and Service Agreements and amendments.
• Interpret and apply contract policies; maintain secure documentation in the contract database.
• Evaluate risk, develop mitigation strategies, and propose practical solutions.
• Own the contract lifecycle from preparation through coordination of approvals and signatures.
• Identify process improvements and develop templates, policies, and best practices.
• Advise clients and internal stakeholders on contract matters, terms, and risk.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, Project Management and others to align positions with objectives.
• Provide reporting on contract status, risks, and recommended actions.
• Lead resolution of complex contract conflicts and disputes with informed negotiation.
• Build networks with internal and external parties across functions.
