Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage client and subcontract agreements across GMP or cost-reimbursable projects. The role requires onsite presence at construction sites and ability to relocate domestically as project schedules dictate.

You will coordinate with site teams, review subcontracts, monitor costs, and ensure proper documentation flow aligning with the prime contract. Proven contract administration experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Law, or Business Administration.
• 7-10 years of experience in subcontract administration or commercial coordination for large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Experience administering construction subcontracts under industry-standard forms such as AIA, ConsensusDocs, or bespoke data-center client amendments.
• Experience supporting subcontract administration on GMP or cost-reimbursable projects with multiple work packages.
• Familiarity with hyperscale data-center or mission-critical project environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support subcontract flow-down provisions from the client contract, ensuring GMP, change, notice, risk allocation, and schedule relief requirements.
• Review subcontract agreements and key terms to ensure understanding of obligations by site and functional teams.
• Administer subcontracts under GMP or cost-reimbursable structures and monitor reimbursable costs, disallowed costs, allowances, and provisional sums.
• Prepare and issue subcontract correspondence including instructions, notices, and change documentation.
• Coordinate with supply chain, construction, and cost control to ensure contractual compliance and proper documentation flow.
