Deluxe Corporation seeks a Senior Contract Strategist to lead end-to-end negotiation and drafting of high-value agreements across multiple business segments. You will work with Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Sales to align contract strategy with business objectives.

The role requires 7–10 years in drafting and negotiating contracts, sharp attention to risk, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal or Business Studies.
• 5+ years’ experience in drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts.
• JD or MBA preferred; legal or financial services background a plus.
• 7–10 years’ experience in drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts.
• Strong written communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Experience negotiating Data Licensing Agreements, DPAs, or Credit Bureau Data Supply Agreements.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end negotiation and drafting of complex, high-value agreements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Product Management, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Sales leadership to shape contracting strategy.
• Advise on non-standard terms and trade-offs between revenue, risk and customer experience.
• Own and improve the contract strategy framework, templates, and governance for assigned segments.
• Support AI-enabled drafting tools and governance to improve speed and quality of contracts.
