Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Contract Specialist IV to manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from procurement through closeout. You will draft amendments, review RFPs/RFOs, and serve as the liaison between vendors and program staff, ensuring compliance and effective contract oversight.

This role emphasizes risk assessments, performance monitoring, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Telework eligible; based in Austin, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
• Minimum of one year directly administering, managing, or monitoring contracts.
• Experience drafting and editing contract-related correspondence, reports, or other substantive business documents.

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive contract management for assigned contracts and develops procedures.
• Develops and maintains procurement and contract management documentation and compliance.
• Communicates with stakeholders and coordinates contract actions, amendments, renewals, and closeouts.
• Coordinates procurement processes ensuring timelines, standards, and legal requirements are met.
• Drafts and edits procurement documents and monitors contractor performance and reporting.
