Job summary

XiFin is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Recruiter in San Diego to own open positions end-to-end, from intake to close. You will lead sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and presentation, partnering with leaders across the organization to deliver high-quality talent.

You will build credibility quickly, craft strategic search plans, and maintain proactive communication with managers and candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience and talent acquisition focus.
• Proven ability to step into new organizations and independently manage searches.
• Track record of identifying, recruiting, and closing high-quality talent across professional, leadership, and executive levels.
• Deep experience with proactive sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills and ability to manage offers and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned requisitions and understand business needs, role requirements, and candidate market.
• Lead intake conversations with hiring managers to uncover true needs beyond the job description.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify high-quality talent, including passive candidates.
• Source, engage, interview, and assess candidates, looking beyond resumes for capabilities and motivation.
• Present high-quality, vetted candidates to hiring managers, focusing on quality over volume.
• Manage the full candidate journey in the ATS, including offers and negotiation, ensuring a positive experience.
