Job summary

John Paul Mitchell Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing Procurement to lead the global contract manufacturing and turnkey execution network.

You will oversee daily buying operations, supplier performance, open orders, and cost governance across multiple contract manufacturers, ensuring supply continuity and risk management. The role guides a team of Senior Buyers and Buyers, with responsibility for strategic alignment, KPIs, and improvements across the procurement

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement, supply chain, contract manufacturing, or supplier management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing buyers, managers, or procurement teams.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in consumer products, beauty, cosmetics, or related industries.
• Proven success leading strategic supplier negotiations and cost savings initiatives.
• Advanced Excel and financial acumen with cost management and PPV.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools, preferably D365.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the contract manufacturing supply base across multiple contract manufacturers.
• Drive supplier performance, corrective actions, and objectives set by Strategic Sourcing.
• Conduct supplier scorecard reviews and manage the Purchasing–Receiving SLA and PO-closure controls.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for significant supplier or operational issues.
• Lead commercialization support, technology transfers, and formula transitions with cross-functional partners.
