Pendulum Therapeutics in San Francisco is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Manager, Contract Manufacturing to own the commercial and operational performance of Pendulum’s contract manufacturing network.

You’ll partner with manufacturing partners to manage raw materials, packaging, filling, and finished goods readiness while shaping strategic supplier relationships. The role requires deep experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and should-cost analysis; you’ll lead negotiations, develop cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, or supplier management.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers in nutraceuticals, food/beverage, pharmaceuticals, or related.
• Proven leadership in complex supplier negotiations and relationships.
• Strong should-cost capability and cost-structure analysis.
• Proficient in Excel/Sheets; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategy and commercial relationships for contract manufacturers.
• Develop supplier network strategy balancing capability, cost, and continuity.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, contracting, onboarding, and ongoing management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, capacity, lead times, and service levels.
• Create should-cost models and drive cost improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Product, Finance to execute supplier plans.
