Job summary

John Paul Mitchell Systems, Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA, seeks a Senior Manager, Contract Manufacturing Procurement to lead the global contract manufacturing network, drive cost governance, supplier performance, and inventory risk across multiple CMs and turnkey partners.

You will oversee day-to-day execution, risk management, and commercial negotiations, lead a procurement team, and partner with R&D, QA, Planning, and Finance to align supply with business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of procurement, supply chain, contract manufacturing, or supplier management experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing buyers, managers, or procurement teams.
• Experience leading procurement operations across multi-CM supplier networks; consumer products/beauty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of contract manufacturing supply base across multiple CMs.
• Manage supplier performance, scorecards, and cost governance.
• Oversee inventory risk, safety stock, and liability protection in the CM network.
• Lead commercial negotiations, price reviews, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop procurement policies, SOPs, and governance processes.
• Coach and develop procurement team, establishing KPIs and succession plans.
