Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the global Contract Manufacturing & Quality workstream across Engineering initiatives. You will drive supplier selection, negotiate terms, and scale manufacturing partnerships across regions, while managing risk and project execution.

The role focuses on optimizing supply chain processes, collaborating with Worldwide Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Design to deliver cost-effective, high-quality programs on time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of managing procurement teams with direct supplier/supply chain experience.
• Experience in contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations.
• Experience in strategic sourcing for high tech electronics/MHE Equipment/related fields.
• Experience in global contract manufacturing and manufacturing quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
• Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to assess their ability to meet quality, delivery, and performance standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project stays on track.
• Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
