Job summary

L’Oréal, located in Florence, KY, seeks a Senior Planner for Contract Manufacturing to lead planning for contract manufacturing partnerships and drive on-time delivery. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to meet production targets while optimizing inventory and service levels.

Responsibilities include managing CM catalogs, optimizing production plans, and implementing continuous improvement to protect OTIF and minimize risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a high performance manufacturing facility; cosmetics industry preferred.
• SAP/PowerBI experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Must have strong written/verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Must manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage a catalog of cruising SKUs and multiple contract manufacturing partnerships.
• Develop relationships with Contract Manufacturers through proactive communication and alignment on production.
• Track receipts to distribution center monthly to hit KPIs like achievement and adherence.
• Analyze and report monthly inventory on excess and obsolete; build action plans.
• Lead production plan validation for CM catalog and monitor plan stability.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive timely plan execution and risk mitigation.
