Responsibilities

• Enhance the District’s communications by coordinating the preparation and presentation of architectural projects to the public and local authorities.
• Provide technical accountability on assigned projects, supervision and guidance regarding design and related disciplines.
• Supervise development and updating of the District’s educational specifications and design guidelines.
• Attend regular meetings with program managers, contractors and other specialists.
• Oversee conceptual designs, studies and technical documents with project teams.
• Evaluate technical recommendations and provide timely input and professional opinion.
• Provide sign off at completion of design phases and construction.
• Prepare and submit reports using approved templates.
• Participate in procurement processes including selection and contracting when required by Bond Program procedures.
