Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Contract Development to lead the drafting, negotiation, and maintenance of contract language for institutional and channel customers in the US healthcare space.

You will translate contracting strategies into executable terms, apply standard templates, and work with CSOP leadership to manage risk and compliance across multiple customer segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Admin, Science, Pharmacy, or Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Paralegal degree or certification is a plus.
• Experience with US healthcare contracting and healthcare environment is required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio is expected.
• Ability to draft, review, and negotiate terms accurately and compliantly.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, negotiation, and execution of contract language for institutional and channel customers.
• Draft and support execution of standard-to-moderate complexity agreements; escalate high-value deals to CSOP leadership.
• Apply enterprise templates and clauses; flag language needs for updates.
• Develop account knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and performance for Institutional customers.
• Support Pricing Committee materials related to contract language, terms, and risk positioning.
• Maintain contract templates and clause libraries under governance with Legal.
• Identify legal, financial, and operational risks in contract language; raise material risks with recommended positions.
• Synthesize cross-functional input into clear risk summaries for decision-making.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting contract terms and flag template/policy implications.
• Collaborate to ensure language is strategically aligned, feasible, and compliant.
