Job summary

Grafton, part of Precision Castparts Corp., is hiring a Contract Administrator—Sales to support commercial and government bids, bookings, billing, and order processing. The role involves coordinating across departments, maintaining schedules, and ensuring accurate information flows from RFQ to shipment, under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business, Engineering or relevant degree fields.
• Senior level sales, customer service, contract administration or purchasing experience.
• 5+ years in Aerospace, Energy or Military market sales.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering, forging or machining.
• Computer skills include MRP systems, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customer sourcing.
• Coordinate shipping requirements with scheduling reports.
• Prepare bids and negotiate specifications and contractual provisions.
• Coordinate scheduling, pricing and performance of customer service reps.
• Set up new accounts and resolve customer problems.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Metallurgy to improve service.
• Develop profile on competitors.
• Coordinate plant visits and tours for customers.
• Provide service support to internal departments.
• Relay RFQ requirements to W-G.
• Enter customer orders into the sales order system and track through production.
• Report to the general manager of Wyman Gordon.
