Job summary

MatX Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee the lifecycle of vendor agreements, NDAs, SOWs, and supplier contracts while safeguarding business interests.

In this role, you will collaborate with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering and Legal to keep contracting fast, compliant, and auditable, implementing templates and playbooks to minimize risk and exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of contract management, legal operations, or commercial contracts in high-tech manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of contract terms, IP licensing, liability limits, and indemnity clauses.
• Hands-on experience deploying CLM software (e.g., DocuSign CLM).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing MSAs, DSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and SLAs
• Establish and maintain a centralized Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system to ensure audit readiness and seamless record-keeping
• Monitor key contract milestones, renewal windows, pricing escalations, and performance obligations across major supply partners
• Partner closely with Legal to implement standardized contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and risk assessment frameworks
• Ensure supplier adherence to contractual terms, IP protection requirements, confidentiality guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Resolve contractual disputes or non-conformance issues in close collaboration with Sourcing and Legal counsel
