Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Principal Contract Administrator (Level 3) or Sr. Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4) to join its contracts team operating onsite in Rocket Center, WV.

The role covers the full contract lifecycle from business development through closeout, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and risk mitigation. The successful candidate will work with finance, program management, and management teams, leveraging FAR/DFARS knowledge and strong negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 9 years of applied experience; will consider 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years with a Masters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with various contract types such as Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
• Strong proposal development, negotiation, and oral/written communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills to resolve complex problems while minimizing risk to the Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration activities from proposal through closeout.
• Administer daily contract activities for a variety of product lines and contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed price; establish payment terms, invoicing, collections, and funding to support financial objectives.
• Enter and manage data in the Contract Management System and other financial/delivery systems.
• Participate in customer meetings, ensuring compliance to contract requirements and leading change management.
• Negotiate non-disclosure agreements and contract terms within company guidelines.
